92, died Sunday

Mrs. Mary E. Marohn Walters, 92 years old, died at 8:10 a.m. Sunday at her home, 604 North cherry street, following an illness of seven months.

Funeral services will be held at the McGregor and Coen chapel at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with short burial rites at the Greenfield cemetery at 3 p.m. the Rev. J. R. Waldron, pastor of the Assembly of God church will conduct the rites and pallbearers will be six nephews, Charles, Ray, Cline and Wilbert Walters and Russell and Owen Busick.

Mrs. Walters was born July 22, 1850, at Bushnell, Ill., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James T. Wilson, and was married in Greenfield in June, 1875 to Henry R. Marohn, who died April 26, 1913. She was later married to Charles A. Walters, who survives. She moved to Creston March 1, 1936.

Also surviving are two sons, William Marohn of Greenfield and George Marohn of Osceola; her daughter Mrs. Frank Carter of Corpus Christi, Texas; two brothers, George Wilson of Humes, Mo., and Orien Wilson of Texas; and a sister Harriett Wilson of Des Moines. Another son, Bert E. Marohn preceded her in death.
