Unity Hixinbaugh, 95, of Riverside, California, formerly of Creston died March 16, 2010, at Kaiser Hospital in Riverside, California. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 22, at Graceland Cemetery Chapel south of Creston. The Rev. Philip Coe of First Christian Church will officiate. No visitation is planned. Unity Frances Hixinbaugh, daughter of Frances Lanora (Evans) and Daniel Joseph Hixinbaugh, was born September 4, 1914, at Unity Hospital in Creston. Unity was a high school teacher for 40 years and had a master's degree. Unity was the first of the family to move to southern California, where she taught high school physical education in Corona. Unity was a member of First Christian Church in Riverside, California, where she held various offices including co-chairing the worship department and serving as a member of the diaconate. Unity was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother and five sistes.
