Services for Albert A. McFarland, 82, of 2043 Des Moines St., will be at 2pm Sunday at Watt funeral home in Lorimor, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Afton.

Mr. McFarland died Friday, November 17th at Methodist hospital after an illness of six weeks. He had been a Des Moines resident for 47 years. He was a retired employee of the service department of Iowa Power and Light Co., and was the oldest living member of the company's employees' association. He retired seven years ago.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary McFarland; a son, Dr. Ray E. McFarland of Wichita, Kan.; and one sister, Mrs. Walter Ferguson of Duncombe.
