Eleanore Snider Karstensen, 78, of Osseo, Wis., died Wednesday at the Osseo Nursing Home. Services will held in Augusta, Wis.

Karstensen was born Aug. 5, 1907, at Atlanta, Neb., to Robert and Winnie Snider. She married Elmer Eklund of Shannon City in 1928. He preceded her in death in 1937. Then she married Maryatt Karstensen in 1942. They lived in the Zearing, Iowa area. He preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 1985.

Survivors include a daughter, Doris Jean Perisho of Zearing; two sons, Josef Elmer Eklund of Augusta, Wis; and Robert Karstensen; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Esther Eklund of Creston and Elsie Sanderson of Placitas, New Mexico.

Besides her two husbands, she was preceded in death by one infant daughter and two sisters.
