Elsie Sanderson, 94, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, died April 28, 1999, in Albuquerque. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. May 3 at Oakland Cemetery in Shannon City. Rev. Pam Farren will officiate. There is open visitation 11 a.m. to noon Monday at Coen-Beaty Funeral Home, 809 W. Montgomery Street.

Mrs. Sanderson was born Nov. 12, 1904, in Shannon City to Robert and Winifred (Brown) Snider. She graduated from Shannon City High School in 1923. In 1925, she married Howard O. Sanderson. She was a homemaker and lived in Iowa and Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Survivors include nieces and a nephew, Dale (wife Judy) Eklund of Creston.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1995; a son, Howard Milton Sanderson in 1998; one brother and four sisters.
