BEN GROESBECK PASSED AWAY

Benjamin W. Groesbeck, 82, died at the Greater Community hospital early Thursday morning, December 26th, 1957. Funeral services were held at two o'clock last Sunday, December 29th at the Emmanuel church. Burial was in the Groesbeck cemetery. His body was at the Wm Coen Funeral Home until time of the services.

Mr. Groesbeck was a farmer and had lived on the farm where he was born on June 2, 1857, except for three years spent in the west when a youth. He was never married. He was a member of the Emmanual Baptist Church north of Afton.

Survivors include two brothers, Herman of Lorimor and Arthur of Afton. A sister, Mrs. Louise Norin preceded in him death.
