Funeral for Juanita Stoenner, 69, of 606 S. Maple died at home Tuesday, was 1:30 p.m. at Keating-Lindsay Funeral Home here.
The Rev. Robert Pickerall, pastor of the Creston First Christian Church, officiated. Music, "In the Garden" and "Beyond the Sunset," was provided by Dorothy Kenworthy, Organist. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery with the funeral home in charge. Pallbearers were Frank Holliday, Dean Jarman, Don Loy, Mack McIntosh, Bill Tillman and Max Weeks.
Mrs. Stoenner was born Jan. 15, 1913, in Creston to William and Susie (Showers) Vandewater. She spent all of her life except two years in California in Creston.
On Aug. 1, 1937, she married Kenneth Stoenner in Los Angeles. She was a housewife, a member of the First Christian Church and its Women's Fellowship and the Green Valley Hospice.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth of Creston; a daughter, Mrs Claudia Scanlan of Puyallup, Wash.; her mother Susie Vandewater; three grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorotha (Mrs. Jessie) Tillman and Francese (Mrs. Glen) Nelson both of Creston.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.
A Memorial has been established to Green Valley Hospice
