Raymond W., son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Wallace was born in Union county, Iowa, March 28, 1873, and died at the home of his parents in Grant township Oct. 30th, 1893. He was therefore 20 years 7 months and 9 days old. The funeral was conducted from the Evangelical church in Afton, a large number of relatives and friends paid there last respect to the dead and joined in sympathizing with the bereaved farmily.
