Margaret M. Lamb was born July 2, 1923 to George Fredrick and Helen Drew in Creston, Iowa. She died March 14, 2006. Margaret was county treasurer in Creston before moving to Des Moines. She worked for Des Moines Independent School District until her retirement in 1985.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Lamb; parents and her brother, Harry Drew. She is survived by her brother, Fred E. Drew (Jean), nieces, nephews and many friends. Burial will be at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House.
