Elsie McCreary, Creston

Elsie Emily McCreary, 85, of 209 N. Maple in Creston died Friday morning Feb. 13, 1981, at Greater Community Hospital

She was born Sept. 16, 1895, near Arispe to Oliver P. and Loretta (Hascall) Tillman and lived all of her life in Creston.

She was a seamstress and a member of the First Christian Church, the Order of Eastern Star and VFW Auxillary. She was divorced

Survivors include two sons, Carroll McCreary of Richmond, Va., and Mearl McCreary of Atlanta; a daughter, Mrs. Erma Jean Davies of Dallas, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one son Milton and three brothers.
