Fay Graham, Creston

Fay Eugene Graham, 74, of Regency Park, Creston, died Saturday night at Greater Community Hospital of cardio-pulmonary arrest.

Service will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Coen-Beaty Funeral Home. The Rev. Roger E. Russell will officiate with burial in Graceland cemetery.

Graham was born Nov. 19, 1910 in Creston to Harry and Ellen (nee Schweers) Graham. He married Alice I. Perkins May 30, 1936, in Creston.

He was a lifelong resident of Union county living in the Creston and Lorimor area. He was a self-employed contractor carpenter, retiring in 1977. He was a member VFW 1797, Disabled American Veterans, and served in World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Alice of Creston, and a sister, Lela Cunningham of Emporia, Kan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
