George Sash, 82, Creston contractor and operator of the Sash Cement Vault company since 1913, died at 2 a.m. Sunday at his home, 703 West DeVoe street, of a heart ailment. He had been in apparent good health and his death was unexpected.

Funeral services will be held at the home tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. John Neuenschwantler will conduct the rites and burial will be in Graceland cemetery.

Mr. Sash was born Jan. 14, 1860 at Kewanee, Ill., a son of Adam and Mary Sash and lived in Creston for 65 years. He was married here March 29, 1892 to Margaret Jane Isenhour, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. William Force of New Yrok, Dr. Helen Sash of Elizabeth, N. J., and Mrs. Bernard Fry of Sublette, Kan.; two sons, Dr. Hillard Sash of Atlantic and John Sash of Creston; and two sisters, Elizabeth Sash and Mrs. Ida Symonds, both of Portland, Ore.

He was a member of the Presbyterian church and a former member of the Elks lodge
