died Today Following
Six Months IllnessAmy Ellen Clark, 61, died at 6:15 o'clock this morning at Greater Community hospital following an illness of six months
Funeral services will be held at the McGregor and Coen chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday and burial will be in Graceland cemetery.
Mrs. Clark was born Feb. 23, 1881 in Adair county, a daughter of John and Sarah Schweers, and moved to Creston in 1901. She was married here in March, 1921, to M. O. Clark, who survives. She was a member of the Christian church.
Also surviving are two sons, E. L. Peery of Des Moines and F. E. Graham of Creston; a daughter Mae A Hicks of Creston; and four sisters, Mrs. I. C. Ridout of Creston, Mrs. A. H. Phillips of Springfield, Ill., Mrs. Ed Chambers of Wisconsin Dells, Wis., and Mae Vance of Overbrook, Kan.
Pallbearers were Gerald Lonnecker, John Schweers, Harlan Vanderwater, Harold Andrews, Al Vanderwater and James Berry.
