Johanna Amanda Moore, 95, 1106 N. Elm St., died Tuesday, November 22, 1988, at Greater Community Hospital. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Coen-Beatty Funeral Home here. The Rev. Lynn Williams will officiate with burial in Graceland Cemetery. There is open visitation at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church or Greater Community Hospital.
Mrs. Moore was born July 14, 1893, near Sac City to Karl and Catherine (Bodamer) Manska. She married Roy A. "Bud" Moore on January 31, 1912, in Sac City and he died in 1959. She lived in Missouri Valley from 1912 to 1919, when she moved to Creston. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Vesta Chapter OES, and White Shrine.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Ann A. Moore of Creston; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, DeRonda D. Moore, and a grandson.
