Lee W. “Bill” Huff, 68, of Creston died of a respiratory ailment Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Coen-Beatty Funeral Home in Creston. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. Huff was born in Dodge City, Neb., and grew up in Mason City. He lived in Creston 39 years and was a baker for Hy-Vee grocery stores. He was an Army veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Jerusalem Church.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; a son, Mark, and a daughter, Teresa Maeder, both of Creston; five brothers, Calvin, Norman and John, all of Mason City, Clifford of Hampton and David of Fallon, Nev.; and two sisters, Vivian Groom of Joplin, Mo., and Eileen Jackson.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Evergreen Cemetery or his church.
