BARKER - Rev. Bleson Barker, father of J. H. and D. of this place, died at the residence of his daughter in Union county, Saturday, march 15th, 1873, aged 71 years. He was a faithful worker for Christ for something over fifty years, having preached the gospel for ten years, and at the time of his death was an active worker in the vineyard of the Lord.
