LLOYD EVERETT STRADLEY

Funeral services for Lloyd E. Stradley, local contractor will be held Friday, December 4, 1970 at 2:00 p.m. at Quinn's Sierra Chapel in Colfax, California.
A native of Iowa, Mr. Stradley, 55, died in the Sacramento Medical Center November 30. He had been a resident of Colfax for the past five years and of San Jose for 15 years prior to coming to Colfax.
Mr. Stradley was born near Shannon City, Iowa on January 26, 1915, to Robert and Stella (Wilson) Stradley.
He married Virginia Carr, later divorced, and married Atkinson. They were divorced and he married Janice.
A veteran of WWII, he served in the Navy. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 2006 of San Jose and the Colfax Lions Club of which he was the present vice president having previously served as secretary.
The Rev. John Wright of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Auburn will officiate at the funeral rites.
Mr. Stradley is survived by his widow, Janice of Colfax, daughters Gloria Vidal of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Patricia Hynes, Santa Clara, Margaret Curvin, San Jose, and sons Lloyd Stradley, Jr., Reno, Nevada, and Robert Atkinson of Campbell, CA; his parents Robert and Stella (Wilson) Stradley of Afton, Iowa, a brother, Marvin (wife Dorothy) Stradley of Reading, PA, sisters, Zayda Harrison of Marshalltown, Iowa, Vonda Long, husband (Clarence) of Shannon City, Iowa and Irma (husband Leonard)Miller, of Lorimor, Iowa and ten grandchildren
The family asks that remembrances be made to the Heart Fund. Interment will be in the Colfax District Cemetery.
