I got to the museum just before closing and found the short obit. I just had time to take some quick notes.
Born - Onondaga Co., New York Jan 23, 1803
1835 moved to Illinois
1836 joined Congregational Church
1856 joined Methodist Episcopal Church
1875 came to Iowa
Died in Bedford, April 5, 1883, aged 80 years, 2 months and 14 days.
Husband Joel "had died several years since".
Had lived with son C.W. Coykendall after Joel died.

Depending on how accurate 'several' is, Joel may have been alive on the 1870 census. I don't think I was able to find them then, but I may look again.
