LINDA MILLIKEN

Linda L. Milliken, 68, passed away February 27, 2016, in Sarasota, Fl. She was born October 4, 1947, in Iowa City, IA to Alfred Norris and Dorothy Hotchkiss.

Linda graduated from South Tama High School in 1966. She worked at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa, and she enjoyed reading, music, camping, watching T.V., playing games, cards and gambling. Linda liked vacationing in Las Vegas and moved to Sarasota, Florida two years ago. She was a devoted wife, mother and proud grandmother who loved to spend time with her granddaughters.

Linda is survived by her mother, Dorothy Yuska; daughter, Dana (Joseph) Lukawski; granddaughters, Morgan and Katherine; brother, Terry Yuska; and sisters, Susan Moore and Joann (Randy) Warren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dwight "Maynard" Milliken; sister, Chyrl Walker; and step-father, Harry Yuska.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2016, at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines.
