Toledo Rites for Mrs. Mohler, Who Died May 6

Toledo - Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, May 10 for Mrs. Elva B. Mohler, 64, at the Henderson funeral home in Toledo. Burial was at Rose Hill cemetery. Rev. Robert MacCanon, former pastor here, now at Hubbard and Rev. M.G. Benner, pastor of the local Evangelical United Brethren church were in charge of the services. Organ music was played by Mrs. M.R. Thompson. Mrs. Paul Yetter and Mrs. Earl Starr were in charge of flowers. Pallbearers were Harold G. Turbett, Raymond Mohler, E.G. Turbett, Lynn Mohler, Roy Moffett and Paul Yetter. Mrs. Mohler died suddenly Thursday afternoon, May 6, 1954, following a heart attack at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Marian) Welle in Brooklyn. Mrs. Mohler was born April 9, 1894 at Traer, the daughter of William Henry and Clarabelle McDowell Long. She was married Nov. 8, 1909 at Marshalltown to Alpha Clyde Mohler. He died several years ago. They lived in Toledo since 1920 and prior to that time at Montour and Cedar Rapids. Survivors include Mrs. Harry (Margaret) Fabricius, a daughter, Carroll, Mrs. Harold (Clara Belle) Boles, daughter, Marshalltown; William Clyde Mohler, son, California; Mrs. Clarence (Marian) Welle, daughter, Brooklyn; John Henry Mohler, son, Lexington Park, Md., Mrs. Dwight (Meda) Carey, daughter, Grinnell. Also surviving are the following sisters, Mrs. Nels Tvedt, Montour; Miss Ellen Long, Marshalltown; Mrs. F.J. Weaver, Marshalltown and Mrs. Carl Long, Tama.
