Resident of Toledo is Victim of Appendicitis

Alpha Clyde Mohler, 69, of Toledo, who has been a patient in the Deaconess hospital in Marshalltown for the past two weeks, died there Sunday, August 15 at 1:30 a.m. of a ruptured appendix. Mr. Mohler was born April 7, 1879, on a farm near Toledo, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Mohler. He married Elva Long of Montour Nov. 9, 1909. Surviving are his widow, two sons, William of Roscoe, Calif., Warrant Officer John Henry of Charleston, S.C., and four daughters, Mrs. H. T. Fabricius of Carroll, Mrs. Harold Boles of Marshalltown, Mrs. Clarence Welle of Brooklyn and Meda Ruth, at home. One sister, Mrs. E.O. Harris of Toledo and eight grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Henderson's funeral home here in charge of Rev. Robert McCanon. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery, northwest of Toledo.
