GLADBROOK – Judy Hein, 61, of Gladbrook died at home Friday, Sept. 28 under the care of Cedar Valley Hospice. She was born Oct. 30, 1945 in Gladbrook, daughter of John and Bernice Weiben McGowan.

On May 28, 1966 she married Donald Claus Hein at Amity Presbyterian Church in rural Reinbeck.

Mrs. Hein graduated from high school in Dinsdale in 1963. She and her husband farmed in northern Tama County.

Survivors include: her husband; a daughter, Tracy Hein (Al Hart) of Olathe, KS; and a sister, Carol Dinsdale of Sumner.

Preceded in death by: her parents; and a sister, Jan Miller.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Peace United Church of Christ with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery, both in Gladbrook. Public visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the French-Hand Funeral Home, Reinbeck with family present.
