SERVICES WEDNESDAY FOR FLOYD SHULER IN DYSART CHURCH

Floyd Shuler, 63, brother of south Tama community folks, died at his home in Dysart Sunday, Feb. 14. Services were held Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock in Zion Lutheran church in Dysart, with burial in the Dysart cemetery.

Mr. Shuler was born Aug. 9, 1907, near Gilman, son of Casper and Mary Brotz Shuler. He was married to Zelma Norris in 1934 in Tama. They came to the Dysart area in 1949, and farmed three miles north of Dysart. He operated a cafe in Dysart for a short time, and was then the custodian of the Hickory Hill Park until his health failed. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Dysart.

He is survived by his widow; three sons, Larry of Oxford, Donald and Gary, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Elaine Nabors of Pryor, Okla.; four brothers, George of Marshalltown, John and William of Gilman and Clifford, rural Tama; four sisters, Mrs. David Smith of Albert Lea, Minn., Mrs. Oscar Conrad of Boone, Mrs. Oscar Anderson and Mrs. Glen Anderson, both rural Tama.
