Edgar T. Hill, 79, died Monday, June 5, 2006 in his home following a sudden illness. A prayer service for family and friends will be 10:00 AM Saturday at the Hrabak Funeral Home by Rev. Charles Johnson. Inurnment will be in the Haven Cemetery, rural Tama, with Military Rites. Friends may call after 9:00 AM Saturday at the Funeral Home.
He is survived by: wife, Marilyn; two daughters, Vicki (Dick) Chase of Cedar Rapids, Susan (Jim) Crowley of Coer-D’Alene, Idaho; two brothers, Gene of Toledo, Herb (Georgianne) of Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Jeff and Jeremy Chase and Adam Crowley; five great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Gabrielle, Rebecca, Haley and Lukas Chase.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Talbert and Gladys Smith Hill; a brother, Allan; sister, Eva Lea Jacobsen; and an infant daughter in 1952.
