OBITUARY

Dennis L. Taylor was born May 27, 1941, at Waterloo, Iowa, son of Donald and Elsie [Taylor] Taylor. Dennis received his education at Genesco School, graduating in the Class of 1959, and continued his education at Wartburg College and U.N.I. He then began farming and working in construction and later owned and operated Taylor-Made Construction Corporation.

Dennis enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and snow skiing. He also enjoyed his church and school activities. During his spare time, he enjoyed music and singing in the choir from time to time.

Dennis' death came on Thursday, July 25, 1985, at the University Hospitals in Iowa CIty at the age of 44 years. He is survived by his wife Kay; one son Jeffrey and one daughter Kristy, both at home; his parents Donald and Elsie Taylor of La Porte City and one sister Mrs. Joe [Donna] Girsch of Waterloo.
