OBITUARY
ALLINE STAVELEY
Funeral services for Alline Staveley, 68, of Charles City were held Wednesdey, June 20, 10:30 a.m. at the First Consregational Church in Charles City with burial at 2 p.m. at Buckingham Cemetery, Traer. An Alpha Delta Kappa service was held at 4 p.m. at the Hauser Funeral Home on Tuesday. She died Sunday, June 17. 1990, at the 11th Street Chautauqua Guest Home in Charles City.
Ths Rev. Don Laue of the First Congregational Church in Charles City officiated at the service. Providing organ music was Doris Schmarzo and voca1ist was Diane Kirkland. Pallbearers were Randy Benson, Morris Dinsdale, Tom Dinsdale, J. R. Herbrechtsmeyer, Don Manning and Milton Obermeier.
Alline Staveley was born Janury 17, 1922, at Traer, the daughter of Leonard and and Viola (Dinsdale) Staveley. She graduated in 1939, from Traer High School, the University of Northern Iowa and received her Master's degree from the University of Iowa.
She taught Business Education in Kensett, La Porta City, Reinbeck, Marengo and taught in the Charles City Community Schools from 1953 to 1983. She was a member of the First Congregational Church and of the Women's Fellowship of that church; the American Association of University Women; was past treasurer of the Chaerles City Women's Club and had served as State President of the Alpha Delta Kappa Honorary Teachers Sorority and the Business and Professional Women.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her stepmother, Hilda Staveley.
SurvIving is a sister, Jean Krause of Lakeview, AR.
