OBITUARY

Wayne H. Staker was born west of Traer in Tama County on Feb. 4, 1923; the son of Hennan and Dora (Nessler) Staker. Wayne attended country school near Dinsdale and later near Dysart where he moved with his parents in 1937.

Wayne then began farming with his father and after their retirement he began working as a farm hand for Johnnie and Marlys Vesely.

After his father's death Wayne moved to Traer where he worked for Robert Cold and Marvin Seda on their farms until his retirement.

In his spare time Wayne enjoyed attending ball games on a regular basis and enjoyed being outdoors and watching traffic and visiting with the community.

Wayne's death came at his home in Traer on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1993 at the age of 70 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by 1 brother LeRoy, 2 sisters; Mrs. Bernice (Art) Manfull and, Mrs. Marlys Johnnie) Vesely all of Traer, Iowa and many nieces and nephews.
