OBITUARY

IONE LINDEMAN

Funeral services for lone Lindeman, 74, of Dysart, were held Wednesday, Sept, 23, at the Geneseo United Methodist Church with burial in Dysart Cemetery. She died at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo Sunday, Sept. 20, 1992.

Officiating at the service was the Rev. John J. Oren with LuAnn Pritchard serving as organist. Casket bearers were Jason Lindeman, Michael Lindeman, Timm Lindeman, John Elliott, William Russell and Robert Higgins. Floral arrangement were tended to by Mrs. William Russell and Mrs. Robert Higgins.

lone Lindeman was born May 3, 1918, at Rinard, Iowa, the daughter of Ira James and Louise (Heath) Cafferty. lone graduated from Rinard High School. She was a licensed practical nurse and worked in area nursing homes and was a member of the Iowa Federation of Lcensed Practical Nurses.

On May 3, 1951, she was united in marriage to Myron Lindeman and they made their home farming in the Genesea Township area until 1957 when they retired to Spirit Lake, Iowa.

lone was active in the United Methodist Women and the Dinner Date in Spirit Lake and enjoyed craft work in her spare time.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a sister, Margaret Freund.

She is survived by her husband, Myron of Spirit Lake; two sons, Dean Spencer of Hinsdale, Ill., and Mark Lindeman of Dysart; one stepson, Paul Lindeman of Dysart; one brother, Lloyd Cafferty of Ames; two sisters, Lola Elliott of Des Moines and Elsie Layland of Lakeside, Ariz.; and, eight grandchildren.

Overton Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
