OBITUARY

Milo D. Walker, 45, of 1185 Hickory Ridge Drive, Buckingham, died Friday, June 17, 1994, at Covenant Medical Center of cancer.

He was born Dec. 30, 1948, in Dubuque, the son of Edward D. and Ruth (Bollinger) Walker. He married Jan K. Gustafson Sept. 19, 1981, in Cedar Falls.

Milo was a 1967 graduate of Moline High School, Moline, IL. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in 1972 from Bradley University in Peoria, IL. He was a Processing Engineer with John Deere and Company for 26 years.

He was a member of the Geneseo United Methodist Church where he served as a past Trustee. He was a member of the Porsche Club and was quite fond of his Porsche. He was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). He loved to read, travel, do yard work and hike.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Wendy Jo Walker at home; one son, Chad Alan Walker of Iowa City; his mother Ruth Walker of Moline, IL; two brothers, Paul E. Walker of Scottsdale, AZ, and Mark J. Walker of Moline, IL.

He was preceded in death by his father in August of 1993.

Services were held Monday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball in Waterloo, with private burial in Geneseo Cemetery, Geneseo.

Memorials may be directed to the Geneseo United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
