OBITUARY

M. Louise (Mrs. Harold) Trimble, 88, of Cedar Falls, and formerly of Traer, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2001, at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls, IA following an extended illness.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at the Traer United Presbyterian Church with buial in Buckingham Cemetery, rural Traer. The Rev. Rick Vesely officiated.

M. Louise Trimble was born May 25, 1912, at Nokomis, IL, the daughter of Jesse R. and Stella (Oakley) Kithcart. As a young girl she moved with her parents to Belle Plaine, IA and attended school there.

On April 30, 1933, she married Harold Trimble in Belle Plaine. They made their home in Dysart where Harold worked as a blacksmith and carpenter before moving to Traer in 1942.

Following Harold's death on June 13, 1988, Louise continued to live i the couple's home until February 1998 when she moved to the Western Home in Cedar Falls.

She enjoyed baking and her dogs.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, a son, Wayne, two brothers and three great-grandchildren.

Mary is survived by two sons: Walter "Bud" Trimble of Waverly and James "Jim" Trimble of Carlisle, AR; one daughter, Lois and her husband, Jack Martin of Denton, TX; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-crandchild.

A memorial fund has been established.

Overton Family Funderal Home-Traer was in charge of arrangements.
