George GARVEY

BUCKINGHAM - Services for George GARVEY, 73, of New London, formerly of Eagle Center and Buckingham, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Mount Pleasant; burial in the church cemetery; he died of natural causes Saturday (Feb. 27) at Burlington Medical Center, Burlington; survivors include his wife, Mary Ruth; six sons, Donald of Lincoln, James of Sauk Center, Minn., Michael of Sigourney, David and Kenneth, both of New London, and Daryl of Chicago; three daughters, Georgia HORAN of Des Moines, Charleen HORN of Burlington and Elizabeth Ann HENDERSON of New London; 18 grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Jane McELROY of Cleveland Heights, Ohio; he was preceded in death by a son, William; friends may call at Elliott Chapel, New London, where a rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. today; Mr. GARVEY owned and operated plumbing and heating businesses in Eagle Center and Buckingham, moving in 1965 to New London where he was associated with Bailey Pump Services.
