DINSDALE, Floyd F (1904 - 1983)

OBITUARY

Floyd F. DINSDALE was born near Traer on November 12, 1904, son of Thomas and Jenny (FLEMING) DINSDALE. Floyd received his education in country school and then began farming. On April 2, 1936, he married Mae KOSTER at Fontinelle, Iowa, and they farmed all their married life near Traer, Iowa. In more recent months Floyd had been in failing health and more recently had been residing at Sunrise Hill Care Center at Traer where he died Tuesday, January 25, 1983, at the age of 78 years. Floyd was a member of the Amity Presbyterian Church and served as a church elder. Floyd is survived by his wife Mae of Traer, two sons, Thomas DINSDALE and Morris DINSDALE both of Traer, one daughter, Mrs. Larry (Joyce) BUCHHOLZ of Traer, three brothers, LeRoy DINSDALE, Marvin DINSDALE and Wilson DINSDALE all of Traer, five sisters, Mrs. Clyde (Matilda) FOSTER of Fairbank, Iowa, Mrs. Verner (Ella) CLAUSSEN of Ames, Iowa, Mrs. Mildred WITT of Reinbeck, Iowa, Miss Lydia DINSDALE of Traer and Mrs. Arlene FRIER of Reinbeck, as well as eight grandchildren.
