Ruth Elizabeth Dinsdale, June 22, 1920 to January 9, 2003. Text taken from the funeral program.

Ruth Elizabeth Dinsdale was born June 22, 1920 at Redfield, South Dakota, the daughter of Frank and Minnie (Koester) Wolfgram. Ruth made her home with her family near Gladbook, Iowa where she attended schooland graduated from Gladbook High School in the class of 1938. On December 14, 1939 she was united in marriage to Marvin Dinsdale at Orient, Iowa. Marvin and Ruth made their home near Traer where she was a homemaker and helped on the farm milking registered Ayrshires. After their retirement in November 1974 they moved to Traer where her husband Marvin continues to make his home. In the summer months they enjoyed spending time at their vacation home on Dead Lake near Richville, Minnestoa. Ruth was an active member of the Ripley United Church of Christ and The Women’s Fellowship. She taught Sunday school class and sang in the church choir. Ruth was active in the 4-H program and sang in the Community Chorus. In her free moments Ruth enjoyed sewing numerous quilts and knitted afghans for all 7 of her grandchildren before being diagnosed with dementia. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband Marvin, children Myron of Traer, Jane (Rodger) Knoop of Traer, Charles (Beverly) Dinsdale of Cape Coral, Florida and Joan (Mike) Reuman of Traer; two brothers Donald (Donna) Woflgram and Milton (Shirley) Wolfgram; one sister Frances Dinsdale all of Traer; an uncle, Lester Koester of Anaheim, California; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
