RITES TODAY FOR WARD O. WILLIAMS; DIES HERE TUESDAY

Services for Ward O. Williams, 57, will be held today (Friday)at Erickson Funeral Home in Traer with the Rev. Louis Cronbaugh of Marengo officiating. He died Tuesday afternoon in his home in Traer.

Born July 8, 1913 at Plymouth, Ind, he was one of 10 children of Joseph and Sara Bremmel Williams. The family moved to the Gladbrook area while he was young, and he graduated from high school there. On March 23, 1933 he was married in Waterloo to the former Emojean Eckhardt of Traer.

They farmed near Dysart several years, then moved to the Hugh Calderwood farm near Hudson, where they farmed until retiring to Traer in 1969 because of Mr. Williams' health.
