Antonia “Toni” DRINOVSKY (1913 - 1998)

Funeral services for Antonia “Toni” DRINOVSKY, 85, of Traer are scheduled to be held Thursday, Sept. 10, at 10:30 a.m. at Ripley united Church of Christ in Traer. Burial will follow at Buckingham Cemetery, rural Traer.

Toni died at Sunrise Hill Care Center in Traer on Monday, Sept. 6, 1998.

The Rev. Sheryl Campbell will officiate the service with Judy Mason serving as organist.

Casket bearers will include Terry Miller, John Bedard, Robert Eisele, Carl Miller, Dennis Miller and Russell DRINOVSKY, Martha Haack and Margaret Dunlavey will be in charge of floral tributes.

Antonia DRINOVSKY was born July 2, 1913, in Czechoslovakia, the daughter of Frank and Emilie (NEMECEK) HLAVACKA. She came to the United States with her mother and brother, Stanley in June 1920. They settled in Clutier where Toni attended country school. She became a naturalized citizen in 1938.

On June 20, 1936, Toni was united in marriage to Louis DRINOVSKY at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. The couple made their home in Traer where Toni continued to reside following Louis’ death in March 1990.

She was a member of the Ripley United Church of Christ, the Homebuilders Class, Toledo Rebekah Lodge and the W. F. L. A. Lodge.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Louis; a brother, Stanley and two sisters, Lillian HLAVACKA and Frances OSBORN.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Julia HLAVACKA of Traer and several nieces and nephews.
