Looking for info on Samuel Bowers and wife Jamina Tice. They lived in Ames, Story County, Iowa, from around 1900 on, maybe buried there.
Found a census record in Michigan, before they moved to Iowa, saying that he was born in Canada,(1830-40), and his father was born in England. I can find nothing on him before the Michigan census.

His daughter Phoebe, was my Father`s Mother.
