I am still seaching for information on my Great Great Grandparents & family. From my Great Grandmother Martha Helland Anderson's obit, I see her parents listed as Torren and Bertha Helland. Came from Norway to America in 1883 to Sheldahl. Martha was survived by her brother Edward Helland of Egeland, ND, & sister Julia Waage (Mrs.George) of Jeffers, MN. She was confirmed by Rev. H.C.Holm at Sheldahl. Married Stenard Anderson (from Norway to USA in 1887 to Sheldahl). They married in Wright County Nov. 1892. I have a photo of Torren (Torres, Thomas) & Bertha taken in Des Moines. They are reportedly buried near Kelly, IA. But no one has ever found any information.
