Looking for information on the Moran /Moren family
Patrick and his wife Mary, both born in Ireland, lived in Grant Township, Story co., Iowa and they had the following children :
Thomas Moran born abt. 1858 married to Florance Haskins and had a daughter Gertie May Moran born 1880.
William Moran born abt. 1859 married Maggie Murphy and had a son named Frank M. Moran
Ellen ( Ella) Moran born abt.1862 Iowa, married R.D. Crane and they had Clarence Crane b. 1906 & Howard R. Crane b. 1900
Mary Anna Moran born abt. 1863 -died 1870 buried Nevada Municipal Cemetery
Mark Moran b. abt. 1865 married Effie Finley in 1890.
Lawrence Moran born about 1867
John Moran born abt.1869 married Lillie Dean in 1895 and had a son Lloyd Moran born 1896.
I am related through Mary Moran's side of the family- Her maiden name was Moran, but no relation to her husband Patrick. They were married in Ohio in 1856-Would be interested in finding descendants of this family and any knowledge of where & when Patrick & Mary first came into the U.S.- Thanks
