The only additional information that I can provide is the marriage of John McKelvie and Minnie N. Porter.

From Story County Marriage Register Vol. A4, page 90. License no. 212 issued Feb 18, 1881; Affadavit by John McKELVIE; Groom: John McKELVIE a farmer of New Albany (township), age 25 on his next birthday, White & Scotch, born in Scotland to John McKELVIE and Agnes MENIER, his first marriage; Bride: Minnie N. PORTER of Collins township, age 20 on next birthday, White American, [place of birth omitted], born to Samuel PORTER and Elizabeth SYKEL, her first marriage; Married at H. C. ROSENBERG's res'd by H. C. ROSENBERGER M. G. on Feb 22, 1881, Witnessed by Sarah McGHALINT?? and Fanny WORRALL; Returned March 17, 1881; Registered March 18, 1881.

The first witness name was difficult to read.
