Obituary - Otis Jasper Jorstad

Otis J. Jorstad, 95, of Story City died of complications of a stroke Wednesday at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bethany Manor Nursing Home in Story City, with burial at Warren Township Cemetery in McCallsburg.
Mr. Jorstad was born near McCallsburg and had lived in that area most of his life before moving to Story City three years ago.
He was a retired farmer and a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in McCallsburg.
Three sisters, Erma Lantz of Corona, Calif., Edna Billings of Long Beach, Calif., and Betty Blair of Alta Loma, Calif., survive.
Friends may call one hour before services Saturday at Bethany Manor. Arrangements are being handled by Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home in Story City.
