Special to The Messenger: DAYTON, June 10, 1943—Jackson Caldwell, 86, former Dayton resident, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Stark, in Boxholm, IA, Tuesday evening. Funeral services will be held in the Swanson Funeral Parlors at 4 p.m. today. The body will be taken to his former home in Illinois for interment. Mr. Caldwell was married twice, both of his wives having preceded him in death.

His survivors include: Cloyd Caldwell of Fort Dodge, IA, Mrs Nora Harrison of Ames, IA, Mrs John Stark of Boxholm, IA, Elbert Caldwell of Lyon, CO, and Layton Caldwell of Capitan, NM, and several grandchildren.
