Funeral Services for Thor Tungesvick This Afternoon

Funeral services were held at the Salem church in Roland this afternoon for Thor Tungesvick, 63, farmer of north of Nevada, who died Thursday night at the home of his son Palmer Tungesvick, at Ogema, Minn., where he had gone with his son Harvey of near Nevada for a visit.

Mrs. Tungesvick and other members of the family drove to Ogema upon receiving word of his death and the body arrived here this morning over the Rock Island, after which it was taken to the farm home six miles north of Nevada, in the northwest corner of Richland township. There prayer service was held at 1:30 p.m. after which the funeral service was held at Salem church in Roland, with burial in the Roland cemetery.

Mr. Tungevick who came to the county about 11 years ago when he was married to Mrs. Lewis Rasmusson leaves wife, sons Harvey, Nevada and Palmer, Minnesota and nine step children. They are Mrs. John Prescott, Raymond Rasmusson and Mrs. Ralph Houchin all of Nevada, Mrs. Clarence Sampson of near Nevada, Mrs. Carl Bennett of Ames, Mrs. Henry Vasey of Collins, Jeffrey Rasmusson of near Nevada, and Grace and Donald at home.
