MRS. TWEDT DIED AT HIGH OLD AGE

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Mrs. Erick E. Twedt, whose death had occurred last Friday following a year's sickness. The services were in charge of Rev. Jacob Enderson, who officiated in the absence of her pastor, Rev. G. O. Paulsrud.

The pall bearers were: Herman Knutson, Lars Stenson, P. N. Skogerboe, John Heggen, Tom Mathre and O. G. Hendrickson. The floral tributes were beautiful and friends and neighbors contributed $5.75 to the Zion society mission in honor of Mrs. Twedt. All of her children were present except Ole and Erick of Thief River Falls, Minn., and Mrs. Belle Goodmanson of Los Angeles.

Obituary

Mrs. Erick E. Twedt was born at Sandfjord Sjold, Norway, May 27, 1848, and died at Story City June 22, 1934, at the ripe old age of 86 years, three weeks and five days.

Nov. 16, 1875, she was united in marriage to Erick E. Twedt. To this union were born seven children: Ole and Erick of Thief River Falls, Minn.; Martin of Story City; Mrs. Belle Goodmanson of Los Angeles, Cal.; Emil and Mrs. Sena Slette of Walter, Minn., and Mrs. Inger Nelson of Stanhope.

Besides her seven children she leaves to mourn her departure 16 grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. Her husband preceded her in death a little over a year ago.

Mrs. Twedt was a sincere and earnest Christian, striving in all things to live an honest life before both God and man. She was a faithful member of Bethel Lutheran church, and will be greatly missed by both congregation and friends.
