MINNIE NICHOLS FUNERAL TO BE HELD FRIDAY AFTERNOON
Mrs. Minnie Nichols died at the local hospital yesterday morning after an illness extending over two months, during which she had been cared for at the hospital.
Funeral services will be held at the Henderson Funeral home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. S. T. Nelson officiating. Interment at Fairview.
Mrs. Nichols was one of our best known and beloved women. She lived here almost all the years, with the exception of some time lived in Des Moines, since coming from Norway with her parents as quite a young girl. Her parents, husband and son, besides one sister, have preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother, Herman Erickson, chief machinist mate in the U.S. Naval reserve, who with his wife has been living in Story City recently and were thus able to be of assistance and comfort to her in her last days.
