Obituary

Margaret Ann Enlow was born in Washington County, Penn., Jan. 13, 1836, died at the home of her son, A. Jones, in Gilbert, Ia., Feb. 22, 1918.

March 17, 1865 she was married in Athens County, Ohio to Jesse Jones. To this union was born two children, A. Jones of Gilbert and Mrs. Pierce of Athens County, Ohio.

For the past twenty-seven years her home has been with her son. Mrs. Pierce was a Christian, not in name alone but in soul and life. While her strength would permit, she would find her place in the house of God every occasion of service; when sickness prevented her going to church she found consolation in reading her Bible and in prayer. She was a member of the Christian church, which membership she retained until called to her home above.

Funeral services were held in the Congregation Church at Gilbert on Sunday, Feb. 24, at 2:30 p.m., Rev Wissler, pastor, officiating. Interment took place in the Gilbert cemetery.
