OBITUARY

Mrs. Bertha (Larson) Lyon

Bertha Larson Lyon was born in Story City, Iowa, Oct. 25, 1881, and died at Melba, Idaho, Jan. 21, 1918, at the age of 36 years, 2 months and 26 days.

She was united in marriage to Floyd D. Lyon, of Ames, Dec. 24, 1906, removing to Seattle, where they resided five years, then coming to Nampa for three years. In September, 1915, they moved to their homestead at Melba, where she lived until her death.

Besides her husband and two little boys, aged ten and four, she leaves an aged father and four brothers and many relatives and a host of friends. None knew her but to love her. She was ever thoughtful of others, never speaking an unkind word of anyone. She was a most devoted wife and mother as well as friend. A truly good Christian woman has passed on to her heavenly home.
