STORY CITY GIRL DIED IN COLORADO

DAUGHTER OF R. P. SHEFFIELD SUCCOMBS TO SEPTICAEMIA LAST THURSDAY

Word was received here last Friday of the death of Mrs. Nettie Lowell, wife of George L. Lowell, at their home near Agate, Colo. Mrs. Sheffield was with Nettie during her last illness, returning home immediately with the sad intelligence. The deceased with the infant babe in the same casket, and accompanied by the sorrowing husband arrived Monday evening, and the funeral services were held at the R. P. Sheffield home south of town Tuesday at one o'clock P. M. and the remains were interred in the Sheffield cemetery.

The deceased was born in Howard Township, August 14, 1877, died June 1, 1911, near Agate, Colo., aged 33 years, 9 months and 17 days. She is survived by her husband, her parents, R. P. and M. P. Sheffield and by two sisters and two brothers, Stella Shirkey of Colorado, Clinton A. Sheffield of South Dakota, Frank Sheffield of Graettinger, and Mrs. E. G. Wiggins of Story City. These, with a host of friends mourn her early departure, and will cherish her memory as a connecting link with the better world beyond.
