OBITUARY

Mrs. Ole Halverson, whose death and burial was briefly mentioned in last week's paper, was born at Skjold, Norway, in 1834. The early years of her life were spent in the community of her birth where she grew to womanhood. In the year of 1854 she was married to Gunderland. To this union were born 8 children of whom four are now living. They are Mrs. Eli Erickson of Estherville, Elling Raynes of Story City, Cornelius Raynes of Des Moines and Andrew Raynes of Ames. Her husband died in 1887. The following year she was married to Ole Halverson who now survives her. She departed this life April 26th, 1915, at an age of 83 years. Deceased was a member of the Lincoln congregation where she was an attendant at church services and worshiped as long as health permitted. She was an earnest christian and a devoted wife.
