MRS. NELLIE STOCKMAN PASSES AWAY MONDAY

Mrs. Nellie Stockman, 63, of Kelley passed away Monday at 12:01 a. m. in the Mary Greeley hospital in Ames. Cause of death was pneumonia, following an operation. She entered the hospital Wednesday but had been ill for some time.

She was born Sept. 18, 1883, at Brumley, Mo. She was married to Alfred T. Stockman, who preceded her in death in 1929. She came to Story county in 1918.

Funeral services were held in the Garden Prairie church Wednesday at 2:30 p. m., with Rev. P. E. Shult of Ankeny in charge. Burial was beside her husband in the Ames Municipal cemetery.

Survivors are a brother, Charlie George of Cambridge; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Kelso and Mrs. Ellen Meade of Crocker, Mo., and Mrs. Margaret Danielson of Kelley; two nephews, Ferris George of Kelley and Frank George, U.S.N., stationed at Bremerton, Wash., whom Mrs. Stockman raised.
