DEATH OF MRS. CELIA FATLAND
Funeral was Held from the Fieldberg Church, Saturday--Many in Attendance
At her home at Huxley on Wednesday evening, July 13th, took place the death of Mrs. Celia Fatland, deceased. She had been very low for several days and the final summons had been anticipated.
Funeral took place Saturday afternoon from the Fieldberg church at Huxley with her pastor, Rev. J. H. Lunde, in charge. In addition to his address there was a vocal solo of Mr. Weiser, who sang, "The Old Rugged Cross." By request Mrs. Miller Heggen of Slater sang an old favorite of the deceased, "Den Store Hvide Flok Vi Se," accompanied by Miss Ruth Halverson. The floral offerings were many and very beautiful. Burial was made in the cemetery of the church.
Deceased was born four miles east of Slater, her parents being Mr. and Mrs. John Anfinson. She grew to womanhood in the community of her birth and lived in the vicinity all her life. She was a member of the Fieldberg church, where she was confirmed, married and worshipped. She passed on at an age of 59 years, 5 months and 7 days.
She is mourned by eight children--five daughters and three sons. They are Mrs. Howard Sheldahl and Mrs. Ole Hanson of Huxley; Mrs. Nuty Ryen of near Slater, Mrs. Andrew Sesker of near Cambridge and Mrs. Sanford Roe of Gary, Indiana. The three sons are: Clarence of Butterfield, Minn., Harry of Slater and Hector of Huxley. Her husband preceded her in death many years ago. She also left two brother and two sisters. They are Mrs. Peter Heggem of Longmont, Colorado, Mrs. Levi Nernes of near Cambridge, Anfin Anfinson of Nevada and Lew Anfinson of easst of Slater.
